Farmhouse sideboard Country Grey
This week I have hand painted this lovely solid farmhouse pine sideboard. I gave it three coats of Country Grey chalk paint, waxed for protection. Once the wax had dried I painted some white detailing around the edges and then distressed it very slightly. Another coat of wax for protection. The top was sanded to a smooth finish and then treated with Osmo rich oak colour wax.

Ercol chairs re-styled
My latest commission to paint some lovely ercol dining chairs in Old White. I started to sand the chairs and found the gorgeous light wood underneath. My customer wanted a stylish dining chair with a difference so I decided to sand some of the chair back to show the original wood. I think the contrast works great together.

Farmhouse cupboard reloved
This week I had this amazing old farmhouse pine cupboard to revamp. It was a very yellow antique wax colour and the owner wanted it lightened up. I prepared and painted it with two coats of Annie Sloan duck egg. Once dried and waxed I then gave it a white wash, getting into all the cracks and knocks. Lastly I sanded the top back and treated with Osmo oil for protection.

Childrens wardrobe
This was a very enjoyable commission. Storage For a five year old boy who loves Batman and super heroes. I mananged to source a good solid pine wardrobe. Once prepaired I painted the base in Annie Sloan Abusson Blue. I then applied the batman wallpaper. Once dry applied several coats of Polyvine to protect it all. One very happy little boy yay.
