Pine corner unit painted in French Grey

This lovely quality pine corner unit has been given a new lease of life. Painted in Annie Sloan French Linen a lovely warm grey. The inside has been painted in old white to make sure its nice and light. Protected in a wax varnish. New antique handles added for a new look.

Tree hall seat

Loving this victorian solid oak Tree hall seat. A bit dated and brown I thought I would give this unusual item of furniture a new style. Hand painted in French linen and waxed. I then removed the seat and sanded it back to show the natural wood underneath. Now a modern coat and hat stand with room for umbrellas.

Victorian bench reclaimed

I discovered two wooden benches hidden away in my garden. They had victorian cast iron bench ends but the wood was rotten. I removed the old paint layers and sanded the rust back (not a quick job), I then resprayed them with a galvanised metal spray. I sourced two pieces of oak from a wood reclamation yard. Once they were sanded and shaped I treated them with a rich oak wax finish. This is going to be used as a new dining bench in our kitchen. Now to start the other one...........
