One more finished item of furniture.

This was a leap of faith and I doubted myself when I started painting this lovely old pine sideboard. It had some lovely carved detail and I wanted it to be reloved to match my new kitchen. So I started with a layer of black paint, yikes I thought help but carry on it will work (fingers crossed). Anyway layer after layer with wax in between and slowly it came together. I am so happy with the results I wanted the colours to show through in places and have finished it off.
